Video Preferences: I prefer Logan/Marie centered videos, but I'll watch any X-Men related videos from any verse.
Music Prefrences: I'm open to any kind of music.
What I like in a video: Creativity, smoothness and by watching it, know the editor put all they had into it.
What I dislike in a video: Long scenes, unless it's needed, sloppiness and too much use of the same clip for the same video.
Pet peeves in videos: One thing that has bothered me is subtitles. I just don't like how it looks, plus, I like to keep the audience making up their own mind as to what is 'being said' in a video if it's supposed to be a story.

Other then these things I'm really not too picky. I would say to keep the videos in the same format: widescreen or full screen and not both. But I understand what it's like to have two formats and making an awesome vid with them and afraid to change it once you have the same format for all clips, that's why that's not on my pet peeves or dislikes. If the video is good enough and the editing is great, then it really won't matter.

I'll protect you.
You promise?
Yeah, I promise.

Video Preferences: I prefer Logan and Marie based videos, I'm not overly impressed by Jean bashing, but I'm not opposed to it either. Any and all X-Men related videos are right up my alley, but as I said before, I have a tendency to swoon when Wolvie and Rogue are on screen together and the creator implies an intimate relationship *swoons*
Music Preferences: I like many kinds of music, but I'm partial to music that has a good feel to it, matches the images in the video well and helps convey the story intended by the creator. As for specific groups or artists, I'm partial to Nickelback and Rob Thomas when it comes to W/R, but I'm open to anything and everything.
What I like in a video: To reiterate what Tasha already said, I believe smoothness and creativity are very important. I also love to see that the creator has put their all into it, that they've really tried to make it as good as it can be and they haven't let anything just "slide" because they were too lazy to bother trying again.
What I dislike in a video: Well, as stated above, I hate to see a video that someone's worked tirelessly on and for the most part it's just great, but then there are some things in it that just scream out, "this person could have corrected this error, fixed this timing problem, cut these frames more carefully" or whatever. I believe when you've spent several hours, or even days working on your video, that you should take pride in your accomplishment, and somehow leaving those little things in, when they could be so easily fixed... I dunno, it just turns me off and often is the only thing I remember of a video after watching it, even if there were many good things as well. I'd also have to agree with Tasha, I don't like seeing the same clips used over and over again in the same video. Same goes for fades, swipes, star bursts or any other kind of scene transition. Yes they're fun to use, but at some point they do get old and can make your video look like it was pasted together by a 5 year old.

Other than all that, I'm fairly easy going when it comes to videos, I love to watch them, I love to see where the editor wants to take me for those 3 or 4 minutes and I really enjoy being able to see how others dream and imagine Logan and Marie (or any other X-Men characters) being together.

I guess all I can really say is, give it your all, try to let your video speak to the viewer and let them see what you imagine.
I can't wait to see what you all come up with!!
